Arlen Vargas, MBA
Information Systems Engineer, Web developer and designer.
Thanks for visiting my online portfolio. Back in 2001, I obtained my Information Systems Engineering degree from the Catholic University of Nicaragua “Redemptoris Mater”. This degree gave me a platform for what I’m passionate about: software development. I love learning new technologies to solve challenges. I believe that technology should not only give you a competitive advantage but also empower you to accomplish your mission. In addition, my background in business gives me the insight in business strategy, project management, financial, and operations.
I've been developing websites for 7+ years. I collaborate mostly on Web development, business strategy, information architecture, Web design, and anything Drupal, but I occasionally dabble in branding, SEO, e-Learning with Moodle, and custom design for Facebook pages. I spend most of my time building web solutions for 16 Copenhagen as a lead web developer/project manager. I occasionally take on freelance projects.
When I'm not attached to my Mac, I can be found jogging, enjoying time with my family, church, and friends. I'm currently accepting new projects; so if you're in need of a new site or custom application, contact me.
